When Heritage Gets Hacked
Meet the Yachtingraff (yeah, with two F’s because rules are made to be sprayed over). A historic 1960s sailing chronograph turned canvas for the most charming watch vandal in the game.
FROM THE DECK TO THE BACK ALLEY
This isn’t your typical regatta timer, unless your idea of tradition includes a splash of rebellion. With a dial that looks like it got hit by a rogue street artist mid-race, and chrono pushers that resemble tiny spray cans' caps, this 38.5mm rebel drips attitude — literally.
Check the hand-painted sub-dials, the anarchic color blocking, the unapologetically defaced logo. It’s heritage, defiled, with style.
THE COUNTDOWN TO CHAOS
The regatta-style "big-eye" countdown is still here, just... uninvited to the rules. Whether you're starting a yacht race or timing your microwave popcorn, it's five minutes of pure graphic punch, and we wouldn't have it any other way.
PUSH TO SPRAY
They look like mini spray cans' caps. They feel like rebellion. A clever nod from seconde/ seconde/, these pushers bring aerosol attitude to your wrist. Activate the chrono and imagine tagging time itself. Bonus: no fumes.
"LA CROISIERE, MA MUSE."
The back tells the whole story — and it tells it loud. Engraved with the phrase “La Croisière, ma muse” ("The Love Boat" in French), it’s a poetic mic drop from seconde/ seconde/. Turn over the watch, and the vandal’s manifesto is right there in plain view.
VINTAGE GRIP, STREET GRED
The Tropic rubber strap keeps things classic in texture but adds comfort where it counts. Lightweight, waterproof, and ready to follow you from yacht club to back alley (or vice versa).
Once again, seconde/seconde/ shows his ability to find a little hook and build a creative new design around it.
I think it was very wise that YEMA was open to having him come in and bring his artistic twist to the Yachtingraf.
