Esta emblemática correa, una gran alternativa a las correas NATO, fue fabricada originalmente a mano por los buceadores de combate de la Marine Nationale en la década de 1970. Los ingeniosos «hombres rana» fabricaban correas a partir de paracaídas usados, recuperando la cinta elástica para coserla y adaptarla a sus relojes de buceo. Hoy en día, las correas se fabrican con elástico de paracaídas de alta calidad, cómodo, seguro y resistente al desgaste. La correa es totalmente ajustable y se adapta a todos los tamaños de muñeca.
MARINE NATIONALE PARACHUTE STRAP
DESIGNED BY THE MILITARY
This iconic strap was originally handmade by French Marine Nationale combat divers in the 1970’s. The resourceful frogmen fashioned straps from used parachutes by recovering the elastic webbing to sew them back on and adapt them to their diver watches. For years, this type of strap has remained purely military, nowadays it’s a great alternative to NATO straps.
SINGLE PASS
The unique single pass design offers the security of a regular NATO strap but wears slimmer on the wrist as only one layer of elastic goes under the watch head.
OFFICIAL BUCKLE
Engraved with Marine Nationale’s official logo and made in brushed stainless steel, the buckle is slim but strong enough to stand up to wear and tear.
FITS ANY WRIST SIZE
The adjustable ladder buckle design enables to easily adjust the length of the strap individually, guaranteeing a perfect fit on wrists from 6” to 9” (15cm to 23cm).
