OFFICIAL WATCH OF THE FRENCH NAVY
YEMA is an official partner of the Marine Nationale. We design purpose-built tool watches for the military and the general public manufactured to full military specifications. The new Navygraf equipped with our latest Manufacture caliber represents the quintessence of this prestigious collaboration.
DESIGNED BY THE MILITARY FOR THE MILITARY
As Official Partner of the Marine Nationale, YEMA is proud to equip military divers tasked with some of the most dangerous underwater missions in the modern battlefield. Designed to withstand the toughest conditions and built for extreme durability and precision, complete reliability is an absolute requirement for tool watches used in military operations by Marine Nationale personnel. As such, all military watches in collaboration with the French Navy are designed and developed jointly according to strict military standards.
After 3 years of development YEMA presents its new 3-hand Manufacture caliber with modern architecture featuring chronometric precision, 70-hour power reserve and high resistance to magnetic fields and shocks.
FRENCH MANUFACTURE CALIBER
Chronometric precision caliber designed and developed by YEMA. Components (bridges and mainplate) manufactured directly in YEMA’s workshops in Morteau, including assemblies, adjustments and checks.
OPTIMIZED AND UNIQUE ARCHITECTURE
Ingenious mainplate’s symmetrical architecture with high quality regulating organs, shock absorbers, escapements and barrel ensuring great precision and reliability.
"GRADE EXCELLENCE" -3/+5 SECONDS ACCURACY
High mechanical precision and high resistance to magnetic fields and shocks, resulting in chronometric performance.
LARGE BARREL WITH 70 HOURS POWER RESERVE
Increased power reserve thanks to a large barrel allowing optimized winding while preserving a frequency of 28,800 A/h (4Hz).
ICONIC NAVYGRAF HANDS
The geometry and finish of the hour and minute hands are reminiscent of the 1970s Navygraf model. The fully white coated hands provide a strong contrast against the monochromatic dial, allowing quick and accurate time reading. The iconic Navygraf sweep second hand in yellow along the Navygraf calligraphy in matching yellow bring an elegant touch of colour and some character to this historic model reinterpretation.
MARINE NATIONALE "NO DATE" DIAL & SAPPHIRE DIVE BEZEL
The French Navy blue-white dial features printed hour markers in slight relief treated with Super-LumiNova for a resolutely vintage look. The absence of date window is a fundamental design element which contributes in providing a perfect dial symmetry and increasing legibility. The Marine Nationale mention at 6 o'clock reinforces the official aspect of this military timepiece. The scratch-resistant sapphire, uni-directional count-up bezel helps military divers track elapsed time underwater.
30 BAR SAPPHIRE EXHIBITION CASE-BACK
The exhibition case-back in sapphire crystal reveals our new Manufacture caliber CMM.10 while securing a 30 BAR (300m) water resistance. The Marine Nationale official logo is discreetly printed within the crystal.
Each case-back is engraved with a unique serial number corresponding to that of its 5-year warranty card.
GRADE A SUPER-LUMINOVA
All dial markers, bezel and the hour and minute hands are coated with Grade A SUPER-LUMINOVA for perfect readability even in the dark.
The 316L stainless steel band with secure lock comes with a divers extension so it can be easily adjusted over a diving suit.
DESIGNED BY THE MILITARY
This iconic strap was originally handmade by French Marine Nationale combat divers in the 1970’s. The resourceful frogmen fashioned straps from used parachutes by recovering the elastic webbing to sew them back on and adapt them to their diver watches. For years, this type of strap has remained purely military, nowadays it’s a great alternative to NATO straps.
