SUPERMAN STEEL BLUE CMM.10

The Superman Steel returns with a steel-blue sunray dial and polished applied hour markers, bringing greater depth and contrast to YEMA’s emblematic professional diver. Its 39mm steel case combines the Superman’s signature bezel-lock mechanism with a polished ceramic insert and 30 BAR water resistance, while the sapphire display caseback reveals the Manufacture CMM.10 caliber, delivering chronometric precision and a 70-hour power reserve.

STEEL BLUE SUNRAY DIAL WITH APPLIED INDEXES

The steel-blue dial features a fine sunray finish that moves from deep navy to brighter blue as it catches the light. Polished applied hour markers bring depth and definition to the display, while the hands and markers are treated with Grade A Super-LumiNova BGW9 for visibility in low-light conditions.

The dial carries its inscriptions in French, completed by the MANUFACTURE FRANÇAISE signature at 6 o’clock. The lollipop seconds hand provides a clear indication that the watch is running while preserving the distinctive character of the Superman display.

STEEL CASE & DOUBLE DOME SAPPHIRE CRYSTAL

Designed for professional diving, the 39mm stainless steel case combines 30 BAR water resistance with balanced, wearable proportions. Measuring 47mm from lug to lug, its gently curved lugs follow the wrist, while vertically brushed surfaces and mirror-polished bevels bring contrast and refinement to the Superman’s distinctive neo-vintage profile.

A 2.20mm-thick double-domed sapphire crystal adds the curvature of vintage watch crystals while providing the scratch resistance and clarity expected of a modern professional dive watch.

CERAMIC BEZEL & PATENTED BEZEL-LOCK

The unidirectional diving bezel features a polished black ceramic insert with a 60-minute scale and a Grade A Super-LumiNova BGW9 marker at 12 o’clock. Its black polished surface contrasts with the steel-blue dial and vertically brushed case. YEMA’s patented bezel-lock mechanism secures the bezel in position once the screw-down crown is tightened. Introduced on the original Superman in 1967, it remains the defining technical feature of YEMA’s professional dive watch.

SCALES SLIM BRACELET

Derived from an emblematic YEMA bracelet design of the 1960s, the stainless steel Scales Slim bracelet features a fully brushed finish that complements the vertically brushed case. The clasp incorporates an on-the-fly micro-adjustment system, allowing the fit to be tightened or loosened throughout the day without tools or removing the watch.

A DYNAMIC REGIONAL WATCHMAKING ECOSYSTEM

YEMA workshops are based in Morteau, the cradle of French watchmaking, a few steps from the Swiss watchmaking region. This cross-border watchmaking community concentrated along the Jura mountains has gradually transformed into a true regional ecosystem recognized as Intangible Cultural Heritage by the UNESCO in 2020.

YEMA's signature #TimeofHeroes dates from 1970. It reflects the history and values of the brand and what it stands for. It tells the adventures of remarkable sportsmen and explorers who have achieved the extraordinary under the most extreme conditions.
